Thanks. I figured I didn't have to go into such great detail on step by step pics to get the point and the feel of the built across. I am almost done and I hope it runs great for how custom the whole thing turned out to be.

What size is that turbo? And what size injectors are you going to run?

 

The turbo is an 2871R. And the injectors I have installed are 60lbs.

I will have it done before the meet and will hopefully worked out any issues that might arrise to be ready for the meet.

I am trying to go through JMS Chips and Performance. Haven't heard back from them yet though so as of now I am still up in arms on who to go through.

 

I got my SVT done with Randy, He's been awesome to work with. I'm really new at the focus and tuning in general and he walked me through everything. One day he even stayed an hour after work to help me through the process. I'm very happy with him and the cars turning into a monsterrrr

I towed it to have the down pipe work done on it and I have a draw from my Gauges and my battery was almost dead. Where are people wiring their gauges?? Mine are wired under drivers kick pannel into the headlight switch. Not sure why there is a draw to cause issues. Any information would be great!

 

I wired mine directly to the battery through the firewall and installed a rocker switch.

I'll take ice in my drinks year round vs ice being on the road for 6 months a year.....

 

Well this year I think there was ice on the road ONE day....this year we got almost no snow and the roads were only bad once that I can remember. But I hear ya, I love to snowmobiule but with mild winters like this juts keep the ice in my ****tail please.

 

So are you guys just tuning by logs or do you have access to a dyno so he can really get it ?

 

Right now we are going off of logs until it is tuned enough for me to drive far distances and then I will possibly be putting her on the Dyno and sending him a copy of my slip to see if any other adjustments need to be made.

 

I work at MBRP exhaust and have access to an in house dyno... Doing logs so I can get er there then it's all on the dyno...

Well, since my wife hasn't update this thread recently I will. Since the last update it seems we have been chasing problem left and right. First the the AEM analog wideband was giving us hugely inaccurate readings. We had to using a Innovate wideband datalogger we had around for the time being so Fernando could start getting the tune dailed in correctly. And now we are having a overboost issue. We reverse direction the wastegate was mounted on the manifold and tested it as an open dump setup which fixed the issue. So now we just have to find the restriction, and for the record, the wastegate dumps into the downpipe on are setup. Any thoughts or suggestions are always welcome.

Quick update: We got the car back from the the exhaust shop after have them make changes to the dump pipe to try and cure the boost creep problem. At this point it seems to be gone, but if it comes back, atomsphere dump it is. The bigger problem right now is getting AFR readings to show up accurately in the SCT live link datalog. At this point if I never use an SCT product again it will be to soon.

 

Well today I got the datalogging issue figured out. So started driving down my driveway so I could do a log and about half way down I noticed the car pull hard left. At this point I'm thinking WTH, flat tire, really? So I got out of the car and sure flat tire. Seems there is always something stopping me. :lol:
