Re: naughty VW pics

Unfort. we'll probably never get the Scirocco over here...all well. I'd still rather take the Rabbit/Golf over it. And since the Mk6 front end looks the same, as the new Scirocco, I'll miss the Mk5...:(

Re: naughty VW pics

I got excited again about 'naughty VW' pics again, and get upset again. No naughty pics here...

So I'll add some...

The wheels on the Silver Fox are kinda gay, but the rest of that car rocks my block!

EDIT: And what's up with those odball VW'ers and rust?
What silver Fox?

And the rust thing is just like HotRodders, no different. Some are slammed and smoothed, some are slammed and rusted with primer...Its owners with different tastes. I don't see anyone really gagging at RatRod Fords?

I think he meant the Jetta with what looks to be Fox headlights :dunno:

(slammed to the ground, staggered mesh wheels with stretch, rust accents, unique interior touches, and boosted with plenty of power)

You just described my car...

And yes, the hood got alot of comments. At HIN when I went, I'd say about 35% of the people that walked by rubbed the hood to see if it was real. As soon as I pulled in and parked, some lady walked up and asked "Whats the point of the hood?" :screwy:

Re: naughty VW pics

Heard hes doing a massive rear wheel...like a 11"?
And that R32 is hot stuff....another pic to appreciate the stance...

Re: naughty VW pics

Wow this got heated up...

Really I don't understand why so many people get pissed over this...Its just a form of someone elses style. I've never seen someone go into someone's track car build thread and piss and moan over someones autoX balloon tires being to big for the wheels. Atleast they have enough respect to stay away and not dump all over the thread. I'd expect the same from the other side of the arguement...but I guess not...

I actually laughed when I read this, just because someone does'nt race or speed thru mountain roads they are not an enthusiast of automobiles. A BIG part of this culture is spirited driving, be it on roads or tracks. But another LARGE portion is show vehicles. And well, another part is just some people wanting something for a daily driver and modding it with what skills and time they have. Thats where alot of the 'VW' culture gets is style...Maybe you don't like it, but atleast the owner loves it and keeps this whole hobby of ours moving and progressing.

And truthfully, if you think slamming a car on 'too wide' wheels, and under-sized tires is just a VW thing, you have no idea...Its a form of style, no different then rice, no different then motorsport inspired cars. This whole 'fad' is not leaving, so get used to it...

One more thing...just because the car is slammed and has wide wheels has no reflection on its peformance...
Local guy Mike, 340hp GTi...

And that goes for alot of VW cars...you'd be suprised how many of these cars you see have Forced Induction or ITB's...
But whatever...I'm done...back to more VW's....

No Kidding.
Guys, If it DOESN'T meet the requirement, it's OBVIOUS.
If it Does, No need to waste the time messing up "Your" pic thread.
:)

Honest Question...
I assume that car's on "'bags", but is it not "Rubbing at Rest"?
Care to Explain?
:dunno:
Yes. The fender rubs on the area of tire in that certain region...

So, "'Bags" and then he has to raise it to drive?
:dunno:
Typically, yea. When static, bag users will lower the car for shows, then when they leave, they will raise the car a tick and leave...
