This will potentially be my third SVT focus i've owned if all is well.

The information i got from the current owner is, clean title, runs great, unsure of what kind of supercharger it has.
You can clearly see it's not in tip-top shape, buttt, it does have some awesome goodies.
Lowest he/she will take is $1900.00.

I know i have yet to check it out, but factoring in what it's worth, minus all the extra goodies, would you guys say it's a steal??
I'd appreciate some more experienced insight.

Thank you!

that car has been in an accident, whether backed into or rear ended someone else. I'm sketched by that.

No pics of the engine bay?!

Also, if it is infact an SVT, timing belt ASAP if it hasnt been replaced. Not sure I'd risk it and drive it home...

The car looks sketchy. Pay a little more and get something much better.

I'm also not sure that is a svt. it has a lot of svt goodies on it but why would the door panels have holes for manual crank windows? and no provisions for switches for windows or locks? the front end is completely wrong. which as others have stated this car may have been in an accident.

get a pic of the engine.

I wonder if it has one of those eBay electric superchargers :screwy:

I agree with those that question it even bing an SVT...the entire front end is zx3... headlights, grille, bumper...I bet it was a zX3 that someone just bought a bunch of svt parts for. sketchy sketchy sketchy.. definitely should get more info and pics. VIN too...

I think it is a SVT. There's way to much there that is SVT for it to be a clone. I can't see someone spending that much time and money on making it a clone when they spray painted everything.

For sure check the motor. But if I were you, if its an SVT I'd buy it in a second.

Is it just me or does the stick shift have a reverse lock lift thingy on it? It looks exactly like the shifter in my old ZX3.
Also the AC panel is wrong as is the "boob".

That car isn't a SVT.

Don't get me wrong, if it's a VIN 5 car and the motor and tranny aren't thrashed, it's likely worth $1900 just for parts.....but only barely.

But the interior pic smacks of light grey plastics that have been sprayed black. SVTs had dark charcoal plastic. The door cards look all wrong. The steering wheel IS wrong. The shifter looks like it has a reverse lockout. The passenger side door looks like it has a manual mirror adjusting stalk.

*shrug* Caveat emptor!

Hahaha, yea, thanks for all the replies. He confirmed it was a 5 speed and I'm waiting for him to send me pictures of the engine bay, from what you guys have helped me see in the pictures that I missed first glance makes it clearly obvious it's a zx3 that someone (like you said ^) more money then brains tried turning into an svt.

The thing I'm really interested in is if it checks all out and runs good I'd use it as my daily driver and keep my 04 redline's miles down. Maybe if I could talk him down even more I'd buy it without question.

There's something about this car though, when you look at the body it makes you think it really is an svt that just got wrecked in the front end possibly, or blew the motor and swapped it for a zx3 engine. Anyway, I'll stop rambling and just ask the guy, not that I will potentially get any good information out of him considering he doesn't even know what kind of supercharger is underneath the hood of his car...

No it isn't the interior is WRONG.
