LOL, Wheels looks great...

The car does look rather high...These wheels in order to really look the best, the car needs to be slammed...

But good choice in wheels. Rather lightweight as well for 18's.

The reason the car looks like it sits so high is because the of 35 sidewall, a 40 or 45 would have suited the car better.

nice man, love ASA's...im riding on EM9's the 17's cuz i was cheap. Well not cheap i dont think anyone that upgrades theirs rims and wraps them in kumho's is "cheap" but I was cheaper than you. Tirerack is the bomb, I was super close to getting the same rims you got but i was not sure if the 18's would have any clearence issues, clearly they dont.

What kind of clearance issues? I've had mine for almost a year with no problem.

wait? huh..... i thought the sidewall # is the percentage of the width of the tires? in that case, 35% of 205mm is less than 40/45% of 205mm.

if he was to put 40/45 there would be more meat and taller from the ground

... but closer to the fender (less gap) is that you mean?

The springs on the car are the FRPP springs. They lower the car about 1.5 inches. I'm also using the FRPP dampers.

Guess what I just ordered? Eibach Sportline springs! They will lower my car another half inch.

I hope the FRPP dampers will hold them up well.

That would be a terrible idea if I put 225/40 or 225/45 there because the mph read would mess up and the tires would rub.

It is best to have the wheel diameter close to the stock as possible.

You have made up my mind, IF, IF I keep my zx3, I am getting a set for sure

is tire rack really sold out?? and if they are, do they plan to get more in or was it truely a closeout?

um. no. If you were to put a 225/40, you would not rub. Not on your current setup. I don't think that the FRPP springs lowered you 1.5 inches. My Eibach ProKit suggests that it lowers the car 1.5, and I'm sitting lower then you. And I am also running alot smaller tire(205/35R18) and my tire is closer to the fender then yours.

You could have easily gotten away with a 225/40. But yeah, the only difference is the speedo would have been off, but that is an easy fix if you have an Xcal.

But thats all behind now, since your getting Sportlines. The new Eibach's will help with grond control. And the Sportlines have a hard spring rate, so the car is gonna handle flatter now.
