Dont you people worry about not having the front crash beam? And cant insurance deny your repair costs if you have an accident because of that?

Car looks great though. I wish that was how they came stock.

When installing a european front bumper, you don't have to completely remove the front crash beam, or even anything remotely like that. You just have to take a few inches off of each side and round off the edges, because the european bumpers don't pertrude as far out as the ugly U.S. front bumpers do. That is why the euro bumpers have clearance issures with the U.S. bumper suport.

You car looks absolutely beautiful. I also like the OEM euro rear bumper more than the RS rear bumper. The RS is too busy looking with those big mesh rectangles in it. The OEM bumper is much smoother and cleaner looking in my opinion. Very nice work. But you know what would look killer? Having those Chrono's powder coated white. I think that would look amazing. Anyone else agree? Maybe you should post your car over in Concepts and have some one color your wheels for you, and see what ya think. I think it would come out nice though. -Nick

You don't lose the crash/rebar beam, you do however have to remove the 5mph crash foam. I don't think it can be modified to fit like it does now so that you do lose, however from certain euro sites, you can order the rear EURO rebar and crash foam...instead of modifying the US Spec, if its even possible.

Thanks guys for the many complements! The wheels are 17" chrono evolutions. I chose the non-RS rear bumper due to fact that the WRC car had it for a few years, and I'm really not a fan of the mesh rectangles. Anyway, thanks again, and I'll try to get some better (and links to bigger) pictures up soon.

I've seen it in person... looks even better.

The lights in the front fit perfectly, the color is perfect, his taillights are excellent. The ST170 headlights are cool and the wing is a great match to the overall look of the car.

Quite the difference from the last time I saw it.

If you don't mind... I'll post the pics I took of your car at the last G2G. Click on the pics for HI RES.
