My 2000 ZX3 doesn't have one either.

 

hey i just took the arm rest of mine when i did my leds. do you guys have pics of your center councils so i can see if there the same size. right now im just going to cover it. but i want to replace it with one that doesn't have the arm rest. manual trans

 

Crap, my 01 zx3 came with one..

 

my 2001 doesnt have one. it also doesnt have ABS.

 

my 03 doesn't have ABS but i think the last person who had it before me took the whole wiring out for ABS.

 

i just ordered a nice one that fits all focus models on ebay, its an aftermarket pretty nice

 

my 02 ZX5 has an armrest

i need to get a new one, mine is broken on both sides and flopps around when i drive... REALLY annoying.

When I had my 03 ZX3 it didnt have one...totally wierd

I had 15 inch alloys (not stealies), no fogs, no power windows, no power locks, and no arm rest. Some said my car was somewhat of an anomaly...but im not sure

what broke on yours? My latch(if you want to call it) is broken and if I tip it back everything falls out.:rant: Kind of a pain in the ass.

 

I traded center consoles with a friend because i wanted one. Mine is missing the clip so the arm rest stays closed. If I tilt it back everything falls out....boooooo

mine has the same problem, and i hate it... my friends always make a mess in my car by accidently spilling everything out of the armrest

 

Just about all the Focus model years had the option to come w/wo armrests (except for the SVTs which had no armrest option) There are plenty of folks looking to trade center consoles to add/delete the armrest so all you really need to do is post up in the 'Want To Buy' section and see if someone bites!

 

or if you dont want to change it totally you can do this.

i cut a piece of plexy glass after taking the bracket off and there are line for it to sit on and if you cut it right it will fit tightly without glue. im going to put a thin metal plate under it with a stencil cut out and put leds under it. it will also work as a little holder for cig's or lighter or whatever.

well hell guys look what i just did mine was a little loose but most of the parts on it are ok. i will charge nearly nothing but you pay shipping. ill post pics of whatever you want whatever angle you want give me time and post me here about it. ill check this regularly let me know.

 

Ok, here's the deal, the base model (S) didn't come with an arm rest. The SE and SES model's came with one. The SVT did not.

if i remember correctly the base model in sedans was the LX for the MK1 not sure what it was for zx3/5's or wagons

screw arm rests... if you have 2 hand on the steering wheel like you're supposed to, you dont need em!

I can have my arm on the armrest along with both hands on the wheel, but usually my other hand is on my stick... because I have a 5spd.:lol:
