So, i'm in the market of buying a new car after I'm done with college

I'm looking at these options:

Lotus Elise or Exige
Infiniti G35 Coupe
Ariel Atom 2

and a toy:

1973 Plymouth Roadrunner
Ducati 640 Monster

OMG i was trying to give the new focus a chance, but those are the first pictures i have seen that let you really see the proportions of the "new car". WOW is that Ugly is all i have to say. IT looks like the fender lines and such match the current focus exactally, they just changed the creases in the body work. Everything look like the just beat the car with an ugly stick, just to make the thing look different than it was. Also the fit and finish on the display modle looks BAD. I was hopeing it was just the front was a bad shot, but it appears all the press photos were just really GOOD shots of the rest of the car...

as for the ariel atom 2, isn't that more under the "toy" catagory?

I don't consider the Atom a toy

the Atom will rip your face off... The New Focus looks like a cheap rip-off
thats what i'm hoping for after watching Clarkson's face get ripped off haha

the new Focus was not impressive

the interior was nice, although I couldn't get close enough to get a good picture

i want to apologize for my photography, but the auto show was packed, and it was hard to take pics when people get in your way about five times per car....

the only part of the new focus i like is the quarter panel windows

Those pics make it look easily better than the Seattle Auto Show last November. :( Glad to see that silver R8 is out of hiding. ;) Was the red TT there with it. :D
Seattle show is ridiculously bad. More like a multi-marque new car lot. It occurs late in the year ahead of the NAIAS and other signifcant shows, so all the good stuff is being held back. I didn't attend the Portland show, but the Audi guys were gaga over the R8. Here's a pic of the TT vert:

Don't know if the coupe was anywhere to be found...

BTW: That Atom is owned by one of the local Seattle-area audiworld.com regulars (also owns a pile of other nice cars, including a very fast B5 S4). Another local Audiworld.com acquaintance owns a detail shop that does all the Atom-owner's vehicles. He's got some intersting stuff.
