PPIR Closing For Good on Oct. 31st.

News came out today that A company has bought PPIR and will be closing it as of Oct. 31st. The entire facility will be demolished.

The track kinda sucked, but its another hard blow for motorsports in Colorado.

So what are they going to replace it with? A shopping mall?

The Company that bought the facility is going to be reselling the land aparently. One provision of the sale is that the land can never be used for motorsports again. I don't think a shopping mall would do very well in that area though.

They said the same thing last year. AMA and R2SL still have events scheduled there next season, so I doubt it'll be gone anytime soon. Just for sale.

WTF...so they buy out the place, just to sell it again and make sure it wont be anything motorsport related?
