Well, this doesn't have my car in it YET, but I wanted to create a project log for my current project.

It is a 220 Gallon BBQ that will be mounted on a trailer, and pulled by my Focus, so yes it does involve my car soon. (waiting on the trailer hitch to come in)

So without further ado, here are tonights pictures:

We put water in it, to lessen the fumes and not blow myself up, it was pretty nasty water, but we took care of it.

That's it for now. I will have more after the weekend, when I get the trailer home.

Nice dude!

The lab I work in is right next to the engineering machine shop. I was screwing around with a plasma cutter the other day... I think I would have killed myself spending 3 hours with a cutoff wheel. How much is it going to weigh?

Should have at least bought a Sawzall.

We made a badass grill when I was in Iraq out of a gas tank from a 5ton truck. It was sweet. But we cut it with a Plasma Cutter, only took like 3 minutes :D

Why would it have been uneven? you could have still followed the lines that you drew with a Sawzall...probably even easier.

I've cut a LOT of stuff with a sawzall (I do a ton of fabricating for my racecar) and if you put the blade all the way in, so that the metal that you are cutting sits next to the guard, it won't bend and twist.

It's a moot point now though because the cutting is done, but it would have been WAY easier.
