Well ok guys my GF wants to put an exhuast on her Z to replace the now brown and dinky lil tip poking out the back. Thing is i need some info on the best Exhuasts. I need info on Pricing, best place to buy, Sound quality, Loudness, pictures, and other info. These are all the ones i currently know of being sold and i'm wondering if someone can help getting info on each of them(in order of importance):

MBRP
Vibrant
Borla
FocusSport
Thermal
BAT (???)

Those are all the ones i can remember right now, if you know of any others please add them onto this list. Also remember it has to be a full Cat-back that bolts on. One other question, would a muffler place be able to cut off and re-attach any of the tips off these exausts to the right length as so they won't stick out from the bumper at ALL. To me an exhuast that sticks out even 1 inch past the bumper looks rather stupid (sorry guys). So this is important. Thanks!

yes a muffler shop will be able to cut and reattach a tip to any length you want or any tip you want for that matter.

hell, just go to the muffler shop and get them to cut the resonator off and weld a straight pipe and a new tip on. i chose a bosal 3" tip, and like you said, i hate exhaust tips that stick out any at all, so i had them make it near flush with the top of the bumper cut out. sounds great, and for $300 and change less...

i went to the exhaust shop near my house and had a magna flow muffler put on, w/ a 3" stainless tip. they took off both of the old mufflers, out the magnaflow in, ran 2.25" tubing, and the tip for $135. beat that! it may have about a half of a h.p. less than those expensive sets- but to me, it was a much better deal

Umm Sorry guys but i really needed info on the listed exhuasts. A custom muffler set up isn't really an option. Thanks though.

Like i stated before i need pricing, pictures, and quality testimonials.

Sorry, dude, I dont have any pics, but I have the FS exhaust, and I love it. Nice sound, not obnoxious, and the tip looks perfect. I have the thermal-coated system, and so far it has held up great. Hope this helps. If you want to see a pic, just go to www.focussport.com

Comments? I've had my exhaust on for about 3 months now, and have not a single complaint about it. It still looks all nice and shiny, just from simple cleaning (when I wash my car, I wash the exhaust, no special cleaners). It still sounds great, and has a definite power gain. Modern Performance dyno tested the exhaust to have a gain of approximately 7.5hp over a stock exhaust setup.

If you have any other questions, feel free to email me.

Right now i'm leaning towards the Vibrant or MBRP from what i have heard great stainless construction and really nice looking tips. Of course both have great sound.

I bought the Apex-i Cat back exh. and its clean with the bumper. It dosn't stick out at all. I bought mine for $400. I have seen other exh. but I think this one looks the best.

I have been checking out the Apexi WS Exhaust for awhile...but i couldn't find out how it sounds like and also the performance. So can you tell me what it sounds like at low rpm and high rpm?

I just installed the APEXi WS on my Foci and to tell you the truth, you can hardly hear the difference from the stock exhaust but the performance on it is something else. At low rpm it sounds a little louder than at high rpm. I could tell the difference in hp. I think it's the best looking exhaust out there.

You should consider the Bosal Performance system! 2.25 inch stainless system with a 5 year warranty! A fine cat-back system without the droning and all the power! Available at www.newedgeperformance.com.
