It is most likely something with the sway bar. I just got my Cup Kit installed and my front sway bar kind of clinks and crap over bumps. I can only hear it when the windows are up, and with summer coming... I don't really care about it. I have talked to some people and they say to make sure that is it PERFECTLY centered or something. If it is slightly off from where it is supposed to be, it could make some noise. Also, how many miles are on your car? It could be your endlinks &/or bushings... but I highly doubt that. I have been runnen around for awhile now with my Cup Kit & the noise... and I have no problems. Just turn the radio up!

I plan on taking it back to the shop someday to have it looked at again. I am just busy with engine mods so it really isn't that big of deal. Hope this helped. Later man.

I had the same problems with my Focus and it turned out to be my front end links. The ball joints on them just went bad and failed on me.

My noise was more of a clunking that seemed to also be coming from the front of the car (like the sway bar was rattling or something).

After installing the new end links the noise problem was gone and my handeling actually improved, which was a great surprise! The new end links are different from my old ones though, suggesting there have been problems with the end links in other Foci before. The old end links are skinny but the new ones are beefer and stronger (plus their made in Japan..

I would suggest getting it check at the dealer but just in case here's the part number..

Hope this helped...

They cost like 5 dollars a piece and are pretty easy to change.
