Sears Point is off the table for 2008..... Speaking with them about 2009...

My car passed the 92db at Laguna as it currently sits.. and my car is pretty darn loud. If my car didnt pass sound, all I would have had to do was attach a turn-away onto the end of the exhaust, and that would have done the trick.

Clint, there were cars at this event that are LOADS louder than you car that were passing sound. Unless you're running NO MUFFLING of any kind, I cannot see your car not passing sound. I'll have to pay attention to your car this Friday at Streets to see how loud it is compared to mine..

i have a db meter that i was using to see what i needed. you can take it out to the track if you really want sometime, i can leave it with my gf? but again, there isn't a need unless you plan on hitting Laguna really.

Uhhh, I don't think so. I don't remember them mentioning it the times I've done HPDEs there. And when you consider they do NHRA there... uhya. :lol:

Yes Alex, they do have dB limits. NHRA is a pro event, so they are exempt. The limit is much more reasonable than Seca though.

Was it T-hill or Infineon that Gillis was having issues with black flags and noise??
