Yes a Diablo Chip will take care of the shifting problem as well as a UDP

It's been a while, and my records are in the armrest of my S2 that's at the dealer right now, so I can't verify - but I'm pretty sure that I'm fairly consistent at 8.1s in my bone stock loaded (and thus kinda heavy) 5-speed S2. This is according to my GTech (on a closed track, of course).

That's way better than the 11.7s 0-60 in the automatic '99 countour loaner they gave me.

That thing does an 18.4 second 1/4 mile. I think it's been either detuned for loaner use or just run into the ground - or maybe a little of both.

Prolly a lil of both on the contour. Thats from experience renting cars. The tend to detune and people drive the crap outt em cuz they are rentals

these are my vehicles.

The blue truck does 0-60 in about 10 minutes with a full load, the yellow one will smoke the blue one to it's top speed of 40, but it's all dump truck from there on.
