SCAM!!! oil cap

This oil cap does NOT fit the focus, at least not my 2.3l duratec. I now have like half a quart of oil all over my engine bay

now I have to try to find my old oil cap or slowly goto autozone for one before it closes... *NOTE* it says it fits ALL 4cyl ford engines...

Looks to me like it might be a Mustang oil cap that someone is trying to pass off as fitting Ford 4 cylinder engines. But, as we all know, even the oil caps on Ford 4 cylinders aren't universal fits across the board for all Ford 4 cylinders.

The Focus ZETEC used 2 different oil caps.

no it's not, the faster your engine revs at, the more pressure that builds up inside, and not to mention the fact that your cams are going super fast spitting oil at your cap, the higher the revs, the faster and higher in quanitity of oil being spat at the cap...I had no problem driving around normally, i punch the gas, BAM oil cap flies...I have a stage 2 turbo mind you

Anyway, no auto store carries an 03' 2.3l Duratec oil cap here in North Carolina, have to go to the dealer...so I bought an edelbrock breather cap for now, and well, smashed it in and it's staying for now...

I've got a Honda cap on my Kona. It holds fine. But sucks cause after you run the engine, the cap gets really hot, you can't touch the cap for acouple minutes.

My bet is it would fit a Zetec... since you've got a Dura in yours I bet that is what caused the headache.
