I'm looking at getting the new focus central race header. Should I get the 2.25 flex pipe also. The reason I ask this is because right now from my flexpipe back I have 2.50 madrel bent piping. I'd rather not replace it.(It sounds great with the dynomax bullet)I originally was running a 75 shot on the car. That's the reason I got the pipe so big. Now it's my daily driver and I need more power off the gas.

hmmm thats a tuff question i mean normally i would think you would want to get a 2.50 flex if thats what the rest of your exhaust is but it won't hurt anything if you got the 2.25 so ether way you should be ok...if you decide on getting a 2.50 flex you can pic one of those up at www.trubendz.com

I was thinking more about performance. What would be better for my NA motor. most people run 2.25 all the way, but since I already have the 2.50 pipe. should I leave the stock flex pipe or go with a bigger one?

i've always heard that with n/a you never want to go over 2.25 cause n/a needs the more back pressure than say f.i

not back pressure but flow. flow is good. back pressure is bad. smaller pipe has better flow and can also have more back pressure. larg pipes have no back pressure and no flow cause of the size
