I know I had to get new nuts for mine.. I couldn't get a socket in the lug hole. Maybe he had the same issue?
No what they're talking about is the angle of the mating surface between the lug and wheel.

I had that same problem with my wheels tho Mike.

The Koseis reached their destination today. It sounded like the new owner was quite happy with the wheels once he got them.

The stock SVTF shift knob is back in Sonic now. I need it in there to match the Focus RS ebrake handle I have coming. :)

Now the plan is to find a 6 speed shift knob like the new Boss shift knob, but in all aluminum and not black.

Currently out of stock, but here you go. http://www.americanmuscle.com/satin-6speed-shiftknob.html#fitment

Or if you want to go the ebay route, this one is billet and not satin. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-2013-M.../290727134652?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43b0b005bc&vxp=mtr

But those shouldn't be 60 degree nuts.

Most open end aluminum nuts are 45s from what I've found.
A lot of the ones I've seen have been 60* since that's the US standard. I know my McGuard are. Looking at a few catalogs, I've seen a lot of manufacturers that offer both styles, both open and closed.

XR/RS style on the left, USDM Focus on the right:

Jeff may have some NOS ones here:

How much was your rs ebrake handle? I kind of want one to match my shift knob.

EDIT: found it on batinc's website for $66.

Thanks, I'll have to see what I can find. I need to get a center console back into my car first. I'll have to figure out how to make it work with the shift base risers I got from a friend. Your car is looking great Jason! The RS wheels are going to look kick ass!

Re: Sonic the SVT Focus - RS Wheels are on!

Looks really really really, really good Jason. Great job.

How can I say that your car is now officially "sex on wheels" when it was indeed the wheels that made the car look like sex on wheels?- I am confused.... Regardless I am both envious and happy for you. It looks even better in person. 18's were made for these cars IMO.
