Anyone know where the 06 street apearence parts can be bought? They should fit on a 05 zx3 im assuming (Hoping they'll already be painted stocks color.

Re: Street Apearence

Any dealer should be able to order it, as it should be a Ford-based part number.

As for it being painted, I highly doubt it. Only some small stuff is pre-painted...usually the door handles or mouldings.

Re: Street Apearence

I went down to my dealership yesterday and got a whole bunch of part #'s and prices. I will post these in a bit... As for being painted, the only part that comes in stock colors, is the sedan spoiler... everything else is primered and ready for paint...

/EDIT

Here is the info that I got... http://www.paulhaskew.com/car/

no its not...but yeh its expensive, but u can't expect it to be cheap from ford

you could have bought a nice bodykit for the same price as the old street kit, and all that was were additions to the rockers, rear, and front

Re: Street Apearence

So, has anyone found out for sure if that rear insert swaps directly onto the SVT rear bumper?

yes.

the zx3 street appearance bumper is the same part number as the SVT.

interestingly enough, steve at tousley ford quoted me for $65 for that rear valence part #17232 as opposed to the $100-something that invoice sheet shows.

just FYI.

edit: not without modification. i've tried and it can be made to work, just it's a bit tricky.

Not surprising, as Steve has a habit of charging us less-than-list price.

Good news on the SVT rear.

Re: Street Apearence

OK, so now we need Steve from Tousley Ford to post HIS prices for those part numbers here.

Steve?? You're up!

Re: Street Apearence

Are these parts availabe now? I would be interested in the spoiler, so are you going to be able to order them seperately, not sure if I like the front and rear yet, but for some reason the spoiler has caught my attention.

Re: Street Apearence

I went into the dealership mainly to get part #s and diagrams, not the quote... I am going to call Steve again today to see if I can get prices from him...

Yes you can buy the spoiler seperate... or you can buy everything in a single kit... The spoiler comes prepainted as well in select colors... meaning all the colors the ST comes in...

Re: Street Apearence

Would that spoiler fit on an 02?
Sedans only changed the deck lid, lights, and bumper. The body shell itself is the same. So yes, the lids are going to be the same width and the spoiler will fit any sedan.
To expand my question... would this bolt to where my pre-existing spolier is? Like if I were to remove my stock spoiler, the Street one would go right in? Plug and play?

Just a general FYI:

I just downloaded the Ford Accessories catalog for the 2006 Focus. Ford is basically encouraging people to get the kit to personalize their car:

12. Focus Ground Effects Body Kit*
Trick out your Focus with these cool effects. Constructed of rugged plastic, ground effects are available in four separate kits: front fascia (comes primed, ready to paint); rear fascia with exhaust tip (rear fascia comes primed, ready to paint); rear spoiler (3-/5-door comes primed, ready to paint; 4-door comes in select exterior colors); and a complete kit. Available for Focus 3-/5-door
vehicles and sedans.

Base Part No. 17D957 Front Fascia
Base Part No. 17K835 Rear Fascia with Exhaust Tip
Base Part No. 44210 Rear Spoiler
Base Part No. 20049 Complete Kit
My assumption: If you quote the 20049 base part number, it MAY be slightly cheaper than getting each part individually. Still, that's quite a hefty price for a kit. At least Ford is giving you the option of having the kit after it leaves the factory...and let you roll the cost of it into financing/leasing.
