Courtesy of a geriatric FL resident who is apparently lacking in her grasp of vehicular dimensions... :bang:

I was stopped at a stoplight.

The bumper doesn't appear cracked, but it is gouged pretty good. The side reflector is toast. The fender/quarter is tweaked, and the taillamp even has a small scrape on it...I think there is also some slight metal creasing under that scrape in front of the taillamp. :(

Tom Bush Mazda/BMW over on Atlantic is where I had my CX-7 repaired when I was rear ended. Nearly identical damage to yours Alex except I didn't get the mirror scuff on top of the rear quarter like you did. I have nothing but good things to say about Tom Bush though. They were super cool and easy going. Paint was a perfect match. They were quick and on-time with the work though there was a slight ripple from where they overhauled and reformed the stock bumper. They took it right back in however when I pointed it out and fixed it correctly. I'd definitely take my Mazda back there again if it ever get's hit again. I'm even taking my FoFo there for a respray before I sell it.

I'll trade you-

Done by a stupid suburban housewife in a new Suburban.
No thanks. ;)

Been (worse than) there, done that!

My first Focus was totalled by an inattentive driver who pulled out directly in front of me (2 years after ANOTHER not-my-fault accident that put it out of commission for over a month), and my white Focus was almost totalled the same way (the air bags not popping off was what saved me on that one).

I'll take this kind of fender bender over that kind any day of the week.

Oh, and thanks Duncan.

I've gotten a couple of good recommendations for on the other side of town (on Cassat), but Tom Bush Mazda is much closer to me and I might just go there... I still have to talk to the other lady's adjuster. She did leave me a message though saying that her party admitted fault and there should be no issues with liability (duh). I didn't get a chance to call her back before the end of the day today...

it wasn't her fault the throttle stuck!

**** dude, that really sucks. Icing on the cake is the senior fart not even parking right after scraping you.

Unreal that they can scrape all the way down the side of their car before cluing in and stopping.

Lemmie know if you wanna go smoked reflectors. I have a set I'll get rid of... kinda wanna go back to red.
