triple post ftl but I managed to get 2 pics of the egg tonight. The motor doesnt crank but does turn, I was thinking timing belt but after taking the motor mount and timing cover off the belt looks fine so that's kind of a bummer. Maybe next week I can replace it all jic...

Wooh, Went to freaky friday in fayetteville and ran my car for the first time. Best time was a 15.9 with .5 reaction at 89mph. I'm looking into a nitrous kit now

Also need to look into wheels. Traction is a problem. Trying to catch up to these damn srt-4s, I was .4 seconds behind one. (16.2 vs 15.8) I think he sucked though.

PS: Seen a mazda 3 out there. I think he had an fswerks turbo kit :O

Got the motor/trans 90% pulled today, a little persuasion on the axles and power steering lines tomorrow and I'll be replacing the timing belt and clutch soon. PS does anyone have a good 00-04 grille? 2 of the 4 tabs on mine are broken

Timing is the same as the SVT (there's a large discussion thread in the SVT forum), except you don't have to worry about valve interference, so it's less stressful. LOL

yeah I've done both zx2 and zx3 timing, zx3 is easier. I thought I'd post up step-by-step pics though for the beginner mechanic if a thread hasn't been made yet

Figured I would post this but I understand if no one would respond. Going to gut out my interior this weekend to do some rewiring. I didnt know if anyone wanted to come out and shoot the **** while this is going on. To make a long story short, I almost set my car on fire Sunday night due to some stupid wiring job. Going to redo it this weekend. Figured it is a good time to learn how to take my carpet out.

Had a good wreck on my bicycle a few weeks back. Tore a tendon and broke my wrist as well as had my head dumabonded (instead of stitches). Had surgery 2 weeks ago. Have the pins for another 6 weeks....but i'm starting to get some range of motion back as far as rotating so thats good.
