Not likely.

The problem is that you kinda need a straight shot to frame. The SVT bumper gives you straight shot to nothing but radiator support. So they'll go to pull, and, well, you already know what happens.

 

Then its ok I just cut the bumper then but I want something that I would be able to screwed in and out. and also be able to bent it like the one in the pic

I'm that's the factory mount for the mini. You don't have to cut the svt bumper, just a little slot right below it in the grill.

 

I like the TC design becuase they meet the SCCA and NASA regulations.

And they screw in so I could remove them If I wanted to.

 

Does the US front member have the same threaded hole as the E-spec front member?

 

Use the straps. You connect to a proper part of the frame with a sturdy metal piece that drops down enough to line up with the grill, then run from it through a slot cut in the grill, having only the strap stick out.

You push the strap in as desired, or tape it up to the bumper cover during track time so it "don't hook on the steam catapault" etc.

Still requires some cuting of the grill front and rear.

reza, i belive the st170 and other euro front bumpers have a notch cut in them already with a cover similar to volkswagons for the tow hook to go through. have you looked into that option?

 

I haven't take the bumper out yet, I don't know if there anything like that under there.

 

The US bumper structures that I've seen do not have a thread for inserting the tow eye, so even if you had a Euro spec cover, you'd probably either need to add a threaded hole or get your hands on an entire Euro spec bumper structure and do a cut and weld job.

i have a e-spec bumper, and it does have the hole, with a cover on it, in the cover, but the frame has no hole, but i bet theres a way to either weld a hook in, or weld in a thread hole... up to you really, or the rules lol

I've always like this design...I would think there would be a way to mount one of these on a Focus SVT or RS bumper like in the pic...
