One time I waxed the car and I got wax on the side molding trim(the black plastic on the doors) and it dried. NOw it won't come off no matter what... it looks so ugly 'cause the side trim is black and there is a white streak all over it. I tried everything and nothing will take it off....

Anyone know what can take it off or what I can do to take it off? Has anyone ever had this problem?? thanks...

Ya that black trim is a pain to keep one color. I used to use son-of-a-gun. But this time after going with the Mothers clay bar and wax I used Mothers Back-to-Black. Worked

for me.

there are actually better things to use than pencil erasers...

Staedtler plastic erasers. You SHOULD be able to get the orange or blue varieties at any drafting/art supply.
The benefit of these is that they are much, much harder. they don't wear out like erasers meant for paper and pencil. one eraser will probably last you forever. i did my whole car with one and it hardly rounded the corners. you can do th whole car in about 5 minutes with them, then take one of those meguiars bug and tar wipes to it to finish the deal.

i'm sorry, i'm an artist, i have to have a preference.

Yup. Stoners Trim Shine does wonders on the plastic pieces. Even with wax dried on them (didn't have time to erase the wax). You can still see the wax but they look greatly improved. And their bug and tar remover rocks too.
