The chalkboard paint has been done as well...Unless the car is black or chalkboard green, it looks dumb. Hows the rust going? :p
I'll have updates next week, the hood is at my buddy's house in his back yard sitting on top of a barrel lol. I won't see it again probably until Wednesday. If he hasn't done it yet I'm gonna start spraying it down with the vinegar/bleach concoction omni mentioned. But if that doesn't work I'll let you know how peeing on it goes

One person does something different, others follow and I guess immediately you're a copy cat? Lame. I guess I should get rid of all this "modifications" thingy to my car.

I think it's bad ass. I'll get around to one someday too.

06Roush's is killer, especially with that orange brick wall background.

Good idea with the aircraft remover.

I can't wait to see what it looks like.

And stay in school! ftw

Its not a slow process. Hes got alot more grinding to do...

Here was progress of mine...

Good stock hood...

After acouple hours of grinding...

And finally more hours of sanding, and some other things...it finally rusts...

after you have all that garbage off the hood. the initial layer of rust only takes about 10-15 minutes to do.

then you let it sit and do NOT wash it or you will just wash the first layer or surface off. and then have to respray / rewait

 you guys are great lol

I plan to get more accomplished with it this week and hopefully next week too...the hood is almost an hour away from me. All we've done so far is aircraft paint remover and some sanding, but not too much. I think David poured a bottle of bleach on it too

Dont any of you wash your cars? Have you ever noticed how fast your rotors rust after you have washed them?

I actually haven't seen the hood in a few weeks...unfortunately I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to go up to David's house and check/work on it

Yeah the rotors rust fast, but they don't have the anti-rust galvanization on them like the hood does

if you have a chlorine swimming pool you could get it to rust REALLY fast...
you could stop by and pop it into my pool if it so happens to work.
