I guess it's Australia's "SVT" division...never heard of it!!

Talking with a guy over on my Carputer forum, and this is what he drives...

"They take the Ford Falcon and turn it into a 300KW V8 Muscle Car or a 270KW I6 Turbo, these cars are beasts.
The GT-P is the flagship, 300KW everything singing and dancing on it."

I didn't even know Ford had a straight six! let alone, a turbo'd one!

Old news, still I want one though, preferably with a turbocharged I-6, none of that heavy V-8 stuff for me!

Duh...I know about Auzzie V8 racing...I know about the Commodore and I know about Holden and a little of the Falcon...
But I never, EVER heard of FPV!
They were one of the lines of cars on Gran Turismo 4. We need these in the US.

FPV was all over every race pretty much, cuz of the falcon racing the others and even falcon dedicated racing series...dont kno how ya missed it, FPV isn't something new.

been in love with these cars for sooo long. turbo4's, 6's, V8s...jeez and they look so sexy. not too fond of the current or upcoming generation tho...but hey evolution is kind to some humans either:D

Yeah we do need them but I'd still settle for a Falcon XR an G series. Along with the Aussie Focus XR5.
The XR-5 is just a Euro-Focus ST by a different name.

I probably seen FPV flash-by on a Auzzie race a dozen times, but it certainly doesn't stick out like HOLDEN does...especially considering that North America basically gets a model to play with!

The company Tickford used to import Mustangs and convert them to RHD for Australia. When Tickford shut down in 2002 Mustangs were no longer offered on the Aussie line up.

I still remember this beauty at Ford 100 in Dearborn (June 2003):

Sad though how now the supposedly new RWD platform has been put on hold...
