I was looking a buying tires from a guy with a 2000 ford focus se for my 2005 focus zx3. I know the offset is the same on the rims and the tires will work. Or at least i think i do. Will the other parts be the same?

It really depends on your body style and what parts you're looking at. Just keep in mind they changed quite a few important things for 2005 (new engines, modified some suspension stuff, increased front disc brakes, body styles, etc.).
