yeah, i spelled it wrong, what are you gonna do about it? haha...

it has two meanings... i sold my Focus today.

it'll be up in Craig/Steamboat.

i have a 91 Civic 4wd for an everyday driver.

but dang, that focus was looking good today.... cleaned it up nice...
i miss it already.

Jeff, Louis, you guys win!

for realz, it's off into the clouds.... snow clouds of the mountains, that is..haha..

as we speak...

yeah, i moved on... i love old cars. well cars from the 80's... they're , simple.
and with gas prices, i don't need a car that i would have to pay attention to the boost gauge and keep in vacuum, ya know? what's the point of it, then?
awd, is cool, too. i'm gonna enter it in the ice races in Georgetown next year.
maybe a rallyx , too. just to try it.

Might just be you and me, Jeff. We are the last of the 2000's. Actually I have to say that this Focus has been one of the most trouble-free, rewarding for smiles per dollar cars that I've had. Its a real shame what they've done to the look of the new ones....Europe excluded.

Dan, sorry to hear you sold your ride, but definitely understandable. Besides, you're right...older cars are great. I am currently thinking about getting a grease car project rolling. Stalking down a cheapo diesel that I can convert.

Good luck with the new beater!

Sorry to hear that Dan. I've been cursing mine the past couple of months. It seems to be nickel and dimeing me lately. I almost got rid of it last month. I'd like to make it to the 10 year point before selling it off.

EDIT

Or maybe sorry is the wrong word. If you are happy with your decision, that's all that matters. :)

i think i am... gas prices are gonna be the death of me with that thing... i get 50 mpg on the Harley. and the awd civic, is high 20's if not 30's... and it's lighter than the focus...with a 1.6L can't beat that.

can't wait to try it out in the snow!

Girlfriend's daughter had one of those. It is a nice car.Very tough too.
First she rolled it on 104th near the ballfields @Sheridan.Hit apatch of ice going too fast.It rolled twice into the field, they got it upright and it started right up and ran perfectly.Body held up nicely too.
Second, she rearended a parked car going @50 mph(upset over a fight w/ her bf).Made a Chevy Corsica a 2dr and I never thought her car would move again. After they took it to the body shop, the damn thing started right up and was actually driveable.Got totaled by the ins. co. due to repairs costing more than 70% of the cars value. If I was in the market for a small awd, that'd be my first choice.

the SX4 is pretty cool one of my neighbors just got the crossover one.

however it appears that it uses the same 2.0 as the areo, and although it claims that it puts out 142 bhp you can't feel the power as much as a sock focus with only 130bhp. The areo also handles horrabley the tires for that thing are so narrow, they've gotta be about 3/4 the size of the GTI's and the lack of surface area you get is really noticable.

The AWD makes it a helluva lot better than the Areo though.
