And of course a car is not complete without a manual tranny, which is why i have one. Lol
Now I'm looking for a complement color. Mom and Dad say black, i think so too. I don't think anything else goes with "grandpa tan." Ideas?

Nice little focus there Kyle! Welcome to [FJ]!!

And for what it's worth... these would go with the 'grandpa tan'.

:lol::lol: ;)

Black is basically neutral.

You could go much more fancy and get a taupe-like colour that's darker, or maybe a dark grey (Liquid Grey for Focus). It really depends on what you want to do with the complementing colour. Is it for specific body panels? Lower or upper panels?

Nice car! Good luck, be sure to check out all the resources available to fix and modify.

What were your other vehicles?

A Zetec and 5-speed make a nice starting point. I've had a few loaner Focus that color over the years and they definitely do fall under the radar of certain authorities. :lol:

Black would be a good choice like the nice example above. You've already got black trim on the car and I can't think of much else that would work well with that color unless you really want to stand out (and maybe not in such a good way).

I was thinking black rims, headlights and maybe a side stripe with some other blacked out things.

I had a 94 Grand Am for 8 weeks, then a 93 Ranger with a five speed which i used as a trade on this. My Ranger finally died :(... and i just hated the Grand Am. :thumbdown

I take that back on bronze. I went to tirerack.com and pulled up an 02 Fort Knox Gold Focus SE sedan and selected a bronze Enkie EV5 and IMO it looks pretty damn good.
I wish I could capture and host the image but I can't so you'd have to go there and pull it up; yourself.

hey hey heyy!! slow your roll viper!!!!:what: jesus lol. he barely got this car ( im assuming) give him some time and soon enough, you will see the drop and tint.
It's just a standard "welcome to the jet" kind of a smartass comment.

He meant no harm.... SOMEBODY was gonna say it. :lol:

welcome!!!! as blackbird stated, you definitly have a good starting point, since its a zetec and manual. i agree that black would be a good contrasting color!! good luck, and have fun with it!!!
