I figured it was time to have a thread devoted to new parts coming in and just a fun way to show off the little changes that we make every now and then. Think of it as a mini Team Rigz. Have fun!
Rob, there are 2 holes in it that are covered up. Unclip the covers, and stick a flathead screwdriver in there. Twist the screwdriver 90 degrees and it should disengage the clip.I found my headliner material last night at WalMart. Am going to go by JoAnns tomorrow to see if they have the same fabric for cheaper.
Rick ... how in the hell do you get the OMG handles off so I can pull the headliner next week?
Thanks Pat. That is what I figured. I picked up five yards of material yesterday. Since I have all week off, I figured I might as well do some stuff to the car.Rob, there are 2 holes in it that are covered up. Unclip the covers, and stick a flathead screwdriver in there. Be aware that if you use a thick headliner material, it is going to be a bitch trying to get those handles back on. The clip locks on the handles are very shallow, even putting the stock headliner back in, you have to beat it with a rubber hammer to get the locks engaged into the roof.
I have the next 3 days off if you want me to helpThanks Pat. That is what I figured. I picked up five yards of material yesterday. Since I have all week off, I figured I might as well do some stuff to the car.
I need to finish the centerconsole and do the headliner. And I am going to start sanding the pillars down for paint.
Oh ... and clean the car. Man it needs a bath.
